Spring into Sports 2009 - Watching Arrows Fly Archery Highlights
Beyond the Ball is one of the lead organizations for Chicago's "Spring into Sports" initiative, part of the "Neighborhood Sports Chicago!" program sponsored by LISC/Chicago. Spring into Sports is an extended week of sports competitions, demonstrations, and recreational activities for youth from many neighborhoods across Chicago during Spring Break.
Beyond the Ball is one of many organizations creating opportunities for youth to participate in Spring into Sports. While Spring into Sports consists of many traditional activities, such as basketball and soccer, we are also exposing kids to non-traditional sports, such as badminton and archery.
