Spring into Sports 2009 Overview
Beyond the Ball is one of the lead organizations for Chicago's "Spring into Sports" initiative, part of the "Neighborhood Sports Chicago!" program sponsored by LISC/Chicago. Spring into Sports is an extended week of sports competitions, demonstrations, and recreational activities for youth from many neighborhoods across Chicago during Spring Break.
Beyond the Ball is one of many organizations creating opportunities for youth to participate in Spring into Sports. This video explains the importance of these programs, including some insight from Beyond the Ball's Executive Director, Rob Castaneda.
