Rob Castañeda, Executive Director

Rob Castañeda has served as the official and unofficial head of Beyond the Ball since its inception. With a small, but dedicated staff, board, and volunteers, Rob wears many hats. He plays a large role in coordinating each of our programs, helps in our fundraising efforts, and speaks to interested parties about our organization.

Rob is also a certified electrician, and has run his own low-voltage wiring company since 2000. He has used his abilities as an electrician to tutor Beyond the Ball participants, and many of them now work in that field.

He, and his wife Amy, still live in the house that was set on fire and set Beyond the Ball into motion. Rob remains very involved in their neighborhood not only as part of Beyond the Ball, but by participating in basketball and softball leagues throughout the year strictly as a player.
